How to Raise $150 in a Week:

  • $30 - Day 1: Send an e-mail to three friends asking for a $10 donation or challenge them to take the Plunge with you.

  • $30- Day 2: Send an e-mail to your three favorite relatives asking for a $10 donation. Perhaps share a story about a Special Olympics Wisconsin athlete.

  • $20 - Day 3: Ask one parent and one sibling for $10 each. Your birthday and/or favorite holiday is coming up soon.

  • $20 - Day 4: Ask two neighbors for $10 each, perhaps after you help them shovel their driveways.

  • $25 - Day 5: You've got the day off of work! Head out to your favorite restaurant/coffee shop/tavern/sporting event and ask five people to donate $5.

  • $15 - Day 6: After cooking a nice meal, ask your significant other or best friend for $15.

  • $10 - Day 7: Add on a personal contribution of $10.


$150 - You've done it!

If someone pledges to you online, he or she will receive an e-mail receipt. Otherwise, receipts can be picked up at registration or requested from your local Polar Plunge office .
